Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) are patterns involving oral and orofacial musculature that interfere with normal growth, development, or function of orofacial structures. OMDs can co-occur with a variety of speech and swallowing disorders.

Voice disorders occurs when loudness, pitch or quality of the sound produced by the larynx differ or are inappropriate for an individual's age, gender, cultural background, or geographic location. Also when an individual expresses concern about having an abnormal voice that doesn’t meet daily needs.
